ELEXBIG PACKAGING GUIDELINES

1. Purpose

The purpose of these Packaging Guidelines is to ensure that all products sold on ELEXBIG Marketplace are packaged securely, professionally, and safely to minimize damage during storage, handling, and transportation.

All Vendors are required to comply with these Guidelines when preparing orders for shipment.


2. Vendor Responsibility

Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring that:

  • Products are packaged appropriately before shipment.
  • Packaging materials are suitable for the product type.
  • Products arrive in good condition.
  • Packaging complies with applicable safety, consumer protection, transportation, and regulatory requirements.

Failure to comply may result in customer complaints, returns, refunds, account penalties, listing restrictions, suspension, or termination from the ELEXBIG Marketplace.


3. General Packaging Standards

All shipments must:

  • Be clean, secure, and professionally packaged.
  • Protect products from damage during storage, handling, and transit.
  • Prevent excessive movement inside the package.
  • Protect against dust, moisture, and minor impacts.
  • Be sealed securely before shipment.
  • Include all accessories, manuals, warranty cards, and components where applicable.

Products must never be shipped in damaged, dirty, previously compromised, or unsuitable packaging.


4. Outer Packaging Requirements

The outer package must:

  • Be strong enough for transportation and handling.
  • Match the size, weight, and fragility of the product.
  • Protect contents from crushing, punctures, and impact.
  • Remain securely sealed throughout transit.

Acceptable outer packaging includes:

  • Corrugated cardboard boxes
  • Protective cartons
  • Poly mailers (for non-fragile items only)
  • Courier-approved packaging materials

Packages should not be excessively oversized, as this may increase shipping costs and the risk of damage during transportation.


5. Inner Packaging Requirements

Vendors should use appropriate protective materials, including:

  • Bubble wrap
  • Foam inserts
  • Air cushions
  • Packing paper
  • Protective sleeves
  • Anti-static packaging where applicable

Products should be immobilized inside the package to prevent shifting during transportation.


6. Electronics Packaging Requirements

Products including:

  • Smartphones
  • Laptops
  • Tablets
  • Smartwatches
  • Gaming consoles
  • Electronic accessories

Must be packaged with:

  • Original manufacturer packaging where available.
  • Protective cushioning around retail boxes.
  • Additional outer shipping cartons.
  • Anti-static protection where necessary.

Original manufacturer packaging alone is not considered sufficient shipping protection unless specifically designed for direct shipment.


7. Fragile Products

Fragile products must:

  • Be wrapped with adequate cushioning.
  • Be protected from impact on all sides.
  • Be clearly labeled "FRAGILE".
  • Be packed to withstand normal transportation handling.

Examples include:

  • Monitors
  • Televisions
  • Glass accessories
  • Camera equipment
  • Smart displays

8. Heavy Products

Heavy items should:

  • Be packed in reinforced cartons.
  • Have weight distributed evenly.
  • Use durable sealing materials.
  • Be capable of being safely lifted and transported.

Where necessary, packages should be labeled:

  • HEAVY ITEM
  • HANDLE WITH CARE

9. Product Labeling Requirements

Each shipment should include:

  • Order number
  • Customer name
  • Delivery address
  • Contact phone number
  • Vendor identification
  • Product description where required

Labels must be accurate, clearly visible, legible, and securely attached.


10. Sealing Requirements

Packages must be sealed using:

  • Strong packaging tape
  • Tamper-evident seals where applicable
  • Manufacturer security seals when available

Vendors must ensure packages cannot be easily opened, tampered with, or damaged during transit.


11. Prohibited Packaging Practices

Vendors must not:

  • Ship products without adequate protective materials.
  • Use damaged cartons or packaging materials.
  • Use wet, dirty, contaminated, or unsafe packaging.
  • Conceal damaged products.
  • Use misleading labels or descriptions.
  • Repackage counterfeit or unauthorized products.
  • Ship products in unsafe or non-compliant packaging.

Such violations may result in immediate corrective action by ELEXBIG.


12. Branding and Marketing Materials

Vendors may include:

  • Business cards
  • Warranty information
  • Product manuals
  • Promotional flyers

Provided that such materials:

  • Are lawful and accurate.
  • Are relevant to the order.
  • Do not contain misleading information.
  • Do not direct customers away from ELEXBIG for future purchases.
  • Do not promote competing marketplaces or unauthorized sales channels.

Packaging & Branding

To maintain a consistent customer experience across the ELEXBIG Marketplace, Vendors may be required to include ELEXBIG-approved branding materials with shipments, including:

  • ELEXBIG stickers
  • Dispatch slips
  • Invoices
  • Thank-you cards
  • Packaging inserts approved by ELEXBIG

Where ELEXBIG branding materials are provided or mandated, Vendors shall ensure that such materials are included in the package in accordance with ELEXBIG instructions and branding standards.

Vendors must not alter, remove, obscure, misuse, or substitute official ELEXBIG branding materials without prior written authorization from ELEXBIG.

Where ELEXBIG-branded packaging, labels, or inserts are required, Vendors shall use such materials in the manner prescribed by ELEXBIG.

ELEXBIG reserves the right to update branding requirements, packaging standards, and customer communication materials from time to time. Vendors are responsible for complying with any revised branding requirements communicated by ELEXBIG.

Failure to comply with applicable branding requirements may result in corrective action, performance warnings, listing restrictions, or other enforcement measures under ELEXBIG Marketplace policies.

ELEXBIG reserves the right to prohibit any marketing, promotional, or branding material that it determines to be misleading, inappropriate, non-compliant, or inconsistent with the ELEXBIG customer experience.


13. Quality Control Checklist

Before shipment, Vendors should verify:

✓ Product is correct.

✓ Product is functional.

✓ Product is free from visible defects.

✓ Accessories are included.

✓ Package is properly sealed.

✓ Shipping label is accurate.

✓ Product packaging meets ELEXBIG standards.

Failure to perform adequate quality checks may result in returns, refunds, customer complaints, and vendor performance penalties.


14. Liability for Improper Packaging

Vendors shall be responsible for losses, returns, refunds, replacements, chargebacks, or customer complaints arising from:

  • Inadequate packaging.
  • Improper sealing.
  • Failure to protect products.
  • Packaging-related product damage.

ELEXBIG reserves the right to recover costs associated with packaging-related claims where permitted by applicable law and Marketplace policies.


15. Compliance and Enforcement

ELEXBIG may conduct packaging audits, inspections, and quality reviews at any time.

Vendors that repeatedly fail to comply with packaging requirements may be subject to:

  • Performance warnings
  • Listing restrictions
  • Mandatory corrective actions
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent account termination

ELEXBIG reserves the right to take any additional enforcement action deemed necessary to protect customers and marketplace integrity.

17. Acceptance of Guidelines

By listing, selling, or fulfilling orders through ELEXBIG Marketplace, Vendors acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Packaging Guidelines and any future updates issued by ELEXBIG.

Failure to comply may result in enforcement actions in accordance with ELEXBIG Marketplace policies.
