ELEXBIG DELIVERY GUIDELINES

1. Introduction

Elexbig is committed to providing a reliable, secure, and efficient delivery experience for customers across Nigeria. These Delivery Guidelines outline the responsibilities of customers, vendors, and logistics partners regarding the shipment and delivery of orders placed on the Elexbig Marketplace.

By placing an order on Elexbig, you agree to these Delivery Guidelines.


2. Delivery Coverage

Elexbig delivers to most cities, towns, and communities across Nigeria through approved logistics partners.

Delivery availability may vary depending on:

  • Customer location
  • Product category
  • Vendor location
  • Security conditions
  • Accessibility of the delivery area

Some remote locations may attract additional delivery charges or longer delivery timelines.


3. Order Processing

After an order is successfully placed:

  1. Payment verification is completed.
  2. The Vendor confirms product availability.
  3. The order is prepared for shipment.
  4. The package is handed over to a logistics partner.
  5. Delivery tracking information may be provided where available.

Orders are generally processed during business days only.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may be processed on the next business day.


4. Estimated Delivery Time

Estimated delivery periods may vary depending on location.

Typical delivery timelines include:

Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.


5. Delivery Charges

Delivery fees are calculated based on:

  • Delivery destination
  • Product size and weight
  • Number of items ordered
  • Vendor location
  • Logistics provider charges

Applicable delivery charges will be displayed before order confirmation.


6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide accurate delivery information.
  • Provide a valid phone number.
  • Be available to receive deliveries.
  • Ensure someone authorized is available at the delivery address if necessary.

Elexbig shall not be responsible for delays resulting from incorrect delivery information supplied by customers.


7. Failed Delivery Attempts

A delivery may be considered unsuccessful if:

  • The recipient is unavailable.
  • The address is incorrect.
  • The phone number cannot be reached.
  • Access to the delivery location is restricted.

Additional delivery charges may apply for re-delivery attempts.

After multiple failed attempts, the order may be canceled or returned to the Vendor.


8. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers are encouraged to inspect packages immediately upon delivery.

Before accepting a package, customers should verify:

  • The package appears intact.
  • The product matches the order.
  • There are no visible signs of damage.

Any issues should be reported to Elexbig within 48 hours of delivery.


9. Damaged or Missing Items

If a customer receives:

  • Damaged products
  • Missing items
  • Incorrect products

The issue should be reported through Elexbig Customer Support within the applicable return period.

Supporting photographs or evidence may be requested.


10. Delivery Delays

Delivery delays may occur due to circumstances beyond Elexbig's control, including:

  • Weather conditions
  • Traffic disruptions
  • Public holidays
  • Security concerns
  • Government restrictions
  • Logistics partner delays
  • Force majeure events

Elexbig shall not be liable for losses arising from such delays.


11. Vendor Shipping Obligations

Vendors are required to:

  • Process orders promptly.
  • Package products securely.
  • Ship products within the stated processing period.
  • Provide accurate shipment information.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory levels.

Repeated failure to meet delivery standards may result in account suspension or other corrective measures.


12. Delivery Confirmation

A delivery shall be considered completed when:

  • The customer signs for the package; or
  • The package is received by an authorized person at the delivery address; or
  • Electronic proof of delivery is recorded by the logistics provider.

Upon confirmed delivery, responsibility for the product transfers to the customer.


13. High-Value Products

For selected high-value products such as:

  • Smartphones
  • Laptops
  • Gaming Consoles
  • Premium Electronics

Customers may be required to provide additional verification before delivery.

Elexbig reserves the right to request valid identification where necessary.


14. Restricted and Unsafe Delivery Locations

Elexbig reserves the right to decline delivery to locations that are:

  • Unsafe
  • Inaccessible
  • Restricted by government authorities
  • Experiencing civil unrest or security concerns

Alternative delivery arrangements may be offered where possible.
